CASTING CALL!!!! | Minneapolis Maternity/Newborn Photographer

We are hosting an amazing workshop this year at our studio with two incredible photographers; Meg Bitton Photography & Pebbles and Polka Dots Photography, and are on the hunt for some models! What an awesome opportunity to get some amazing images from these photographers just for coming to help!

(All models will receive 4-10 edited images for taking part.)

Here is what we need:

* 2 newborn boys (under 2 weeks on April 29th) @ 9:30am

* 2 newborn girls (under 2 weeks on April 29th) @ 12:30pm

* Maternity model with long hair, between 7 1/2 - 8 months pregnant April 28th

We will probably start a list of expectant mamas for around that time, and as it gets closer, be able to figure out who is able to do it!

Extended Family Mini-Sessions | Elk River Family Photographer

** Extended Family Mini-Sessions! **
May 7th - Beach sessions  |  May 8th - Field Sessions
(Average temp. is 67º this time of year, we will schedule the following week if either date is rained out)

Frankly, I don't offer extended family sessions very often... but since I do get a lot of inquiries for them, this is the BEST solution! 

I'm excited to offer these this year!

How many times does Mom want a big group picture, but it's just a pain in the B to try to get everyone together, and then who wants to go try and get everyone in a studio with the whole family!
I know how long it takes to plan ahead for just your OWN family, but trying to coordinate a large group can take some time! Make sure you PLAN AHEAD, get your time and locations set up, and then start talking clothes and coordinating.
Best to pick around 3-5 colors, and have everyone stay in that color scheme and mix it up, with patterns, textures, and pops of those colors throughout! Makes for a very interesting (and not matchy matchy) image, something you can blow up and cherish for a long time! I have loads of pinterest inspirations and ideas for outfits, so if you're looking for ideas, let me know! I'm happy to help out!

Moment of honesty... AND Easter Mini-sessions | Elk River Photographer

OK, so pretty much every time I've blogged in the past, oh I don't know, since I've been blogging really, I comment on how bad I've been at blogging, and THIS year I'm going to get better blah blah...and it's always my intention, however...

Here's the truth... I hate blogging... dread it. 

I've tried to take steps to make it quicker and easier, but it's just really something I dread doing, so all of these sessions are sitting on my external hard drives and I never really share much from them :( When I think about it though, it seems silly really, to keep them all to myself and my awesome clients, when I LOVE what I do so much and all these beautiful families come to see me with their gorgeous little kids, and I DO really want to share it :) Ugh... so here we are again, I'm going to TRY and get better at blogging, I'm going to try and blog more... try and try again :)

On another note, I'm having some bunny Easter Mini-Sessions!

OH BABY!! | 1 newborn session package for the remainder of 2013

With fall around the corner, my favorite season of the year, and my destination wedding, now less than 3 months away (wow, that came so fast!) I have decided to simplify things at Linabell Photography for the remainder of the year!

Linabell Photography will be offering 1 newborn package only for the remainder of 2013...

Every newborn session booked will come with 25-30 images (which will be sent via digital download 2 weeks after the session) for $600! This will eliminate any additional time spent waiting for orders, placing the orders and then shipping the orders. During the fall season, everything gets delayed a little longer than usual due to the high volume of sessions, and this will help to eliminate all of that! :)  

**Please remember to book your newborn session in advance! 
If you are planning on getting any sibling/family shots, we will start with that portion of the session, and then move into the newborn portion. It is strongly encouraged to have someone to occupy or to take the siblings after their portion of the session is done. 

** Newborns are generally best photographed within the first 2 weeks of life. I offer newborn sessions Tuesday, Thursday and some Friday mornings.

Matilda Jane... I live vicariously through other people's children

Well, since I don't have girls (two crazy little boys), I had a little Matilda Jane swap day at the studio! We got so many adorable outfits for in the studio, I die! If I had a little girl... I would probably be one poor mama... between Matilda Jane and Persnickety Knits, they are always coming out with the CUTEST little things!! Love love love...

Thanks for bringing all your sweet little dollies to see me!

Yes, unbelievably it is that time of year already!
(In order to get the pictures out for holiday cards, we're getting them in early!)

Come and join me and Mrs. Claus for some hot chocolate and holiday cheer :) Bring a gift for the Toys For Tots Tree and have a cup while your kids are getting some holiday pictures done!

After your session, you will get a gallery with 10 images. From there, you will choose the 5 images you want on CD, and have the option to purchase extras, holiday cards and other fun stuff.
